The Office Vodcast: Did we stutter? (updated)

It's time to put down your crossword puzzles and pay attention, because Chris and Bri are adding some zing and some pep to The Office Vodcast. In fact we might even go one better and add even more zing and pep to our recap of "Did I Stutter."

Flash video:

In other news, OfficeTally reported earlier that Angela Kinsey gave birth Saturday to a girl, Isabel Ruby Lieberstien.

Ed. note: This mention and apparently others have been taken down from other online outlets, so considered this news unverified.

2nd Ed. note: Now it's back up again. Go figure.

3rd Ed. note: TVGuide.com is reporting weighed in at 6 lbs., 14 oz. and that Kinsey's mom, Bertie, and Office cast mate Jenna Fischer were reportedly at the hospital with her. And according to People.com, the baby arrived at 12:50 p.m.

Oh, and tanster continues to post her weekly Q&A's with The Office writers, this time with Brent Forrester and Justin Spitzer offering insights into "Did I Stutter."

By the way, the third deleted scene is up, and Ryan is still a … Read more of this entry »

Sell The House In Chappaqua!

It's time to call the vampire hunters. Hillary Clinton is the undead. She'll never quit this race.

Never.

And I hope she doesn't.

I"m having so much fun watching this insanity, that it would be a shame for her to drop out. Crazy Hil should take it all the way to the Democratic Party convention, and beyond. Yes, beyond!

If Obama should happen to win the presidential nomination, Hillary should show up to his inauguration and declare a Yogi-ism that it's not ever until it's over. And even if it is over, it's not really over until SHE SAY IT'S OVER, DAMMIT.

Then I hope Hillary starts stalking him with nutty pranks, like making phony phone calls to the White House at 3 a.m. That would be funny.

But seriously folks….

Here's the thing that gets me. After losing North Carolina and barely squeaking by in Indiana, Hillary not only seems determined to stick to a losing cause, she's starting to whine again. Now she says if the Democrats followed the same primary rules as the Republicans, she'd be the presumptive nominee by now.

Think about that. Then consider all this polling talk that something like half of her supporters won't vote for Obama if he becomes … Read more of this entry »

Jacques le Sourd didn't find many laughs in the new Broadway musical "Cry-Baby." And he was just plain baffled by Broadway's revival of "Les Liaisons Dangereuses."

Weekly podcast and Thursday results

Here's the weekly podcast, recorded late Thursday:

Download:

We talked about Pelham-Rye, Pelham-Suffern, Rye Town/Harrison-Mamaroneck and Iona Prep-Fordham Prep, among other things.

Some pretty interesting results last night. Mike Daley made 41 saves as Brewster gave White Plains its toughest league test of the season, leading 3-2 after two periods before falling 4-3. Matt Altieri scored the winner from Phil Sigona with 2:54 left. Eric Perlowitz scored four times for Mount Pleasant, who got a much needed win and knocked Clarkstown South out of the playoffs (see my previous post for that breakdown). Brett Novick scored four times asRye Town/Harrison took care of Pawling 8-5, and Ossining won its sixth in a row, beating New Rochelle 4-3 in on a goal by Steven Faiella goal 2:30 into overtime.

Today's notebooks are about Ossining's incredible turnaround (Ossining makes playoffs after slow start), Rye Country Day's big win (Upset win keeps RCDS in contention)
and how Chris McIndoe is the latest in a long line of outstanding Clarkstown North goalies (McIndoe maintains North legacy). Of course, they also include the latest power rankings, and I will do an extended top 10 before lunch.

I thought this … Read more of this entry »
